A Philippine Coast Guard vessel on Tuesday made dangerous maneuvers repeatedly near Chinese coast guard ships in the waters near Huangyan Island in the South China Sea and was driven away, the China Media Group reported on Wednesday.

According to the video report, on Tuesday morning, the Philippine Coast Guard vessel 9701 was operating in the waters near Huangyan Island and sailed across the sterns of two Chinese coast guard ships multiple times.

Video footage showed that the China Coast Guard issued a warning to the Philippine vessel in both Chinese and English: "Your operations are unsafe and unprofessional. Immediately cease your dangerous maneuvers and move away, or you will bear all the consequences."

The report was published on an on-site navigation chart, stated that the wake of the Philippine vessel clearly indicated its high speed.

Under these circumstances, the Philippine ship actively made dangerous approaches to the Chinese coast guard ships, with the closest distance being only a hundred meters, it noted.
