Editor's note: China's top legislature said on Monday it plans to amend the Law of Wild Animal Protection to crack down on those indiscriminately trading or eating wildlife. The proposed amendment comes during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, a virus transferred to humans from wild animals. Is it time to ban the wildlife trade permanently?

Kay (China)

We must educate the masses that wildlife must be preserved in China. The best way to carry this out is not to consume unsustainable creatures, those on the edge of extinction.
