Is it time to ban the wildlife trade for good?

It would be great if people would finally realize eating wildlife is a huge health risk. SARS and now this virus are likely of “wild” origin. The outbreaks of both were completely unnecessary and only caused by humans who wanted to eat “fancy” things. I also hope the government will act stricter on poachers and those selling wild animals (but also punish those eating these things). This would be a benefit for all, humans and wildlife! My best wishes for those who cannot join their families this year because of this crisis.
