Uruguay is a country in the southeastern region of South America. It borders Argentina to its west and Brazil to its north and east. "Most Chinese people are familiar with Uruguay soccer players, and soccer is indeed the most popular sport in Uruguay. However, our country has more to offer," said Agustina.

According to her, Uruguay has cooperated with China's Ministry of Culture and Education this year. Both sides agreed to build a Chinese cultural center in Uruguay and set up a learning center at Beijing Jiaotong University to spread Uruguay culture. Also, the first Confucius Institute has been unveiled to the locals in Uruguay.
