中國國家首席獸醫(yī)師、農業(yè)部獸醫(yī)局局長賈幼陵15日說，中國目前正在對全國范圍內的家禽接種疫苗，費用由中央和地方政府共同支付。據悉，我國“人用禽流感疫苗研制”項目已完成臨床前研究，這標志著我國在這一領域取得重大突破。請看報道：

said China is in the process of vaccinating all
poultry in the country. He said the government will pay all fees involved,
but he did not provide any details of how officials would carry out the
vaccinations.
Vaccinate的意思就是“（給…）接種疫苗”，也就是我們通常所說的“打預防針”，vaccinate常和against連用，表示“接種疫苗以預防（疾病）”，如：When
were people first vaccinated against measles?（人們首次接種麻疹疫苗是什么時候？）
此外，vaccine指的是“疫苗”，而“（接種）疫苗者”則稱為vaccinee。
