目前，2012年歐洲足球錦標(biāo)賽申辦權(quán)的角逐已進(jìn)入了最后階段。希臘于本周四表示有信心取得本次歐錦賽的申辦權(quán)。負(fù)責(zé)希臘體育事務(wù)的副文化部長說，希臘為這次歐錦賽的申辦進(jìn)行了充分的準(zhǔn)備，目前形勢(shì)較為樂觀；并表示將進(jìn)一步采取措施以確保申辦成功。請(qǐng)看報(bào)道：
"Our bid is proceeding very well and we have submitted an excellent
file," Orfanos, deputy cultural minister who is in charge of sports
affairs, told reporters after meeting with Greek Prime minister Costas
Karamanlis. "The information coming from UEFA is positive and we will take
the necessary next steps when the shortlist of
three is announced," he added.
文中的shortlist是“決選名單”的意思，如：Shortlist candidates will be invited for the
interview. （入圍的應(yīng)聘者將收到面試通知。）
The shortlists for the 2004 awards were
announced on 23 January 2005.（2004年獲獎(jiǎng)的入圍名單于2005年1月23日被公布。）
此外，shortlist 還可以作動(dòng)詞使用，表示“列入決選名單”。
