全民閱讀促進(jìn)條例草案

A draft ordinance to promote reading in China was published by the government in 2017. Released by the Legislative Affairs Office of China's State Council, the ordinance plans to take "reading for all" as a national strategy, aiming to encourage people to form better reading habits.
2017年，國務(wù)院法制辦辦務(wù)會(huì)議發(fā)布了《全民閱讀促進(jìn)條例（草案）》。《草案》計(jì)劃將全民閱讀納入國家戰(zhàn)略，旨在鼓勵(lì)民眾培養(yǎng)良好的閱讀習(xí)慣。

The ordinance states that governments at or above county level should incorporate reading programs into their economic and social development plan and annual budget.
《草案》指出，縣級以上人民政府應(yīng)當(dāng)將全民閱讀促進(jìn)工作納入本級國民經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)發(fā)展規(guī)劃，將政府開展全民閱讀促進(jìn)工作所需資金納入本級預(yù)算。

It also encourages academies and schools to open their libraries to the public. The draft calls on bookstores to reserve reading space for people. Under the ordinance, poor and remote areas are expected to get special support.
《草案》還鼓勵(lì)學(xué)校圖書館、科研機(jī)構(gòu)圖書館向公眾提供全民閱讀服務(wù)，號(hào)召實(shí)體書店為人們開辟閱讀空間。根據(jù)《草案》，貧困偏遠(yuǎn)地區(qū)還將得到特別扶助。
