Missy the cat in the UK has become the world's first feline to have an artificial knee replacement, the Daily Mail reported. The 8-year-old family pet had been lying injured in a bush for 2 days with a hind leg broken in 8 places after she was run over by a car. Vets found her close to death, but she made a recovery after undergoing pioneering new surgery to rebuild her limbs and fit a specially-made metal joint. (See photo)
