在淡出歌壇四年之后，臺(tái)灣歌手孟庭葦在1月28日發(fā)行最新專(zhuān)輯《紅花》，專(zhuān)輯將收錄《紅花》、《琥珀》、《靜靜的生命慢慢的河》等六首全新歌曲，其中《紅花》由孟庭葦親自作詞，是孟庭葦去過(guò)甘肅祁連山下的黃羊川后有感而發(fā)，她祈愿這片荒蕪的河西走廊，能開(kāi)出美麗的朵朵紅花?！剁辍穭t是由孟京輝導(dǎo)演、劉燁和袁泉擔(dān)綱主演的同名話(huà)劇的主題曲。

Taiwan singer Meng Tingwei has returned to the spotlight with the release of her new album "Red Flower", with proceeds going to poor areas in northwest China.

Meng Tingwei wrote the title track "Red Flower" after visiting a poor area in Gansu Province, which lies in northwest China. The experience convinced her to produce an album to benefit people in need.

She told reporters that her personality did not match the entertainment industry, which pushed her to end her music career four years ago. However, she hopes the proceeds of her new album can be used to build medical facilities in northwest China.

"Red Flower" tells us that as long as we lend a helping hand, children living in poor areas can grow healthily like red flowers. The album will be released next Friday.
