| 美國總統(tǒng)布什12月9日在白宮橢圓形辦公室會見中國總理溫家寶時稱，他反對臺灣舉行“公投”。溫總理對此表示，他非常欣賞布什這一立場，并稱只要存在“一線希望”，祖國大陸都希望與臺灣實現(xiàn)和平統(tǒng)一。China Daily上的相關(guān)報道是這樣的：U.S. President George W. Bush said in Washington that he opposed a Taiwan referendum which might lead the island towards independence, and his stance was appreciated by visiting Premier Wen Jiabao.
