Premier Wen arrives at Shifang to direct relief work

Premier Wen Jiabao has been at the scene of some of the worst-hit disaster areas in Sichuan province directing relief work.
Wen Jiabao came to Shifang city on Tuesday afternoon. He first visited a primary school, where more than 130 people were still trapped by debris. The premier encouraged the Army's rescue personnel to work more quickly to save more lives. He next went to a damaged factory.
In a camp just set up, Wen Jiabao reassured the people and told them that food and relief materials, as well as professional rescue teams would come soon. He told the people around him that the central government sympathizes with their losses of families and friends. And he promised that the government will do its best in the relief work.
