The Huzhou International Tennis Center, the largest tennis court in Asia, located in Wuxing district, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, opened to the public on March 30.

At 50,000 square meters, the center features 18 tennis courts, including 14 red clay courts meeting Roland Garros standards.

The center's grand opening included tennis icons Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf, who provided on-site guidance to young players and interacted with enthusiastic fans.

The center is scheduled to host its inaugural major event, the China Tennis Tour 1000 Tournament, on April 21, with various competitions planned for the future.

Agassi described the center as state-of-the-art, extraordinary, and efficient. "The facility is magnificent and one of the best I've ever seen. It is very smart to build a red clay court for young children to learn the sport the right way."

The flourishing tennis scene in Huzhou has experienced significant growth, with 159 tennis courts and a vibrant community of over 30,000 tennis enthusiasts. By providing an international training environment, the new center aims to elevate local tennis players, particularly youth, to higher competitive levels.
