Hanzhong, Shaanxi province, was highlighted, with young composer Zhao Zeming creating new arrangements, such as The Song of Harvesting Rice, which preserved the original folk essence and infused traditional pieces with contemporary vitality.

The melody of the southern Shaanxi folk song was playfully whimsical and reflected the unique landscapes and elegance of the Hanshui River basin while expressing the passionate yet reserved rural sentiments of the local people.
