Yan Chongnian, a renowned historian said, "My personal experience proves the significance of cultural development in the recent era. ... I once received a letter from America that invited me to tell the stories. So I came and saw Chinese, British and French among the audiences, who attended in person to hear my stories about China. They applauded with excitement and took photos with me. This is how telling China's stories well can improve our confidence in Chinese culture."
