The Yishion Group company, in Dongguan, Guangdong province, responded immediately and overcame difficulties to produce the clothes quickly.

The shirts come in two colors, blue and orange. They are made out of pure cotton fabric that is breathable and absorbent.

Workers said they felt proud and honored to receive their shirts.

Ding Hao, a 31-year-old engineer from China Construction Eighth Engineering Southern Co in Shenzhen, Guangdong, said it was his second time being involved in the construction of an emergency hospital.

"Now that I'm finished here, I feel my efforts in the past month have not been in vain and everything was worth it," he said.

As Ding prepared to return to Shenzhen, he received a blue shirt.

"The T-shirt has meaningful words on it," he said. "I collect T-shirts, and this one will be taken good care of with all my other valuable clothes in my room back home."
