Wu said big data promotes information security, as the technology could figure out security threats in bigger areas and could catch new features and loopholes in many network attacks by analyzing a large amount of data.
He also said big data needs to work in tandem with artificial intelligence and the internet of things to enhance its ability to safeguard information security.
