Zhao Baige, chairwoman of the Advisory Committee of the Belt and Road Initiative International Think Tank at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, shared her perspectives on the BRI during a Vision China event in Beijing on Saturday.

"Belt and Road will promote reform and improve the global governance structure,... will create a new impetus for the global economic growth and seek comprehensive and sustainable development," she said.

The sixth session of Vision China, themed "Belt and Road, Shared Future", kicks off at Beijing Language and Culture University in Beijing on April 27. Vision China is a series of talks organized by China Daily.

The event coincides with the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in Beijing on April 25 - 27.
