Hu Weiwei, the founder and president of Mobike China, and seven other Chinese women made the Forbes Asia Emergent Women 25 List, Forbes reported.

These Chinese women were chosen for the money they generate, the influence they wield and the trends they are advancing as they bring fresh perspectives to the Asia-Pacific's growing business world, Forbes said.

Four of the women lead companies in the Chinese mainland, three in China's Hong Kong and one in China's Taiwan, according to the report.
