EU leader highlights common interests, partnership with China

Herman Van Rompuy, former Belgian prime minister and president of the European Council, said the European Union shared President Xi Jinping's advocacy of open economies and free, fair trade.
He said EU and China shared common interests in fighting against terrorism and climate change and had a lot in common.
