World Intelligence Driving Challenge held in Tianjin

TIANJIN - The World Intelligence Driving Challenge (WIDC) kicked off at the China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) in Tianjin on Wednesday.
As a part of the World Intelligent Congress (WIC2017) that is opened on Thursday, the event aims to present a superior site demonstration about smart driving that brings people more of a sense of technology and experience.
Focusing on the driving challenges of self-driving vehicles, the WIDC competition is divided into three series, including self-driving, smart-aided driving and information security.
The WIDC invited international companies, universities, colleges and research institutes to form the participating teams.
