The Chinese President arrived in Switzerland on Sunday for a state visit and to attend the World Economic Forum at Davos. It is the first time a Chinese president has taken part in the Davos summit.
He told dignitaries at a welcoming event at Zurich Airport that his visit was intended to create a positive impetus for the recovery of the world economy.
